The Nokia mobile company is the world’s best brand. Although, a lot of new mobile manufacturers have set their leg into the market, this brand still rocks the world. It has been launching new models from day one every other year. Nobody stops to buy this phone! Now, since it is the turn of the smartphones to rock the world, the Nokia mobile company has launched its new smartphone, which is well-known as the Nokia N9. This will be the first Smartphone that will run of the MeeGo operating system Platform.
The Nokia N9 which features the 3.9 inch super AMOLED display has a 8 mega-pixel powerful camera. The Nokia N9 was mainly invented to disrupt the smartphone market. This phone looks unique without any buttons on the front. All the navigation is handled through the virtual buttons and the MeeGo gestures. Under the hood, it has been powered with a 1 GB RAM and a powerful CPU processor. At the back, you can find the camera that has a wide-angled focus and it is capable of capturing about 720p videos.
The display that is made of Gorilla glass prevents cracks and scratches to appear. The glass is curved to allow more natural swiping motion. The Nokia N9 is a candy bar handset that is made of solid polymer. The Nokia mobile company has revealed that it used the same material that is found in helmets used for ice hockey. The company also assures that scratches that may appear from everyday use will not show up because it has a polycarbonate casing. The overall construction of the Nokia N9 proves that, this gadget will be superior to other smarphones in the market.
The Meego operating system focuses mainly on simplicity. The user-interface features include the usual home screen application, and a separate screen for events and notifications. The other features include the unified mail box, face book and twitter clients, lock screen notification and multi-tasking. The mobile looks attractive and it has already impressed its customers with its intuitive software and sleek hardware.
The sad part is that, this phone does not support the creation of folders for application sorting. Also, it is unable to support Adobe Flash Web video and micro card slot for memory expansion. The worst part is the battery is not removable.
Talking about its price, the Nokia N9 price in India is RS 32,368. The price of this phone in Dollars will be 677.
